Ian Tilton is a professional, award-winning theatrical photographer with over 20 years experience.

Based in the North West of England, he began his career in the eighties taking bands as diverse as Guns N Roses, Iggy Pop and The Stone Roses. His shot of an exhausted and tearful Kurt Cobain was hailed by Q Magazine as one of the 6 best rock photographs of all time - while his photo of the Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown with an orange in his mouth has gone down in rock n roll photographic legend.
In addition to his continuing interest in music photography, Ian has become a sought-after theatrical photographer, working regularly in theatre across the UK. His wealth of experience in the field gives him an unrivalled understanding of production schedules, dress rehearsals, studio & location shoots, tight photographic deadlines and marketing budgets. Utilising the best modern photographic technology, Ian prides himself in being able to turn around quality digital press shots in a matter of hours - and high quality front-of-house prints within 24 hours.
